Create It: Adding Sub-Members

Now it’s your turn to set up a household contact and add sub-members.

Important Note: If you need to create a group membership with sub-member terms, you’ll first follow the instructions outlined in the Creating Memberships course.

Create a household contact:

  1. Select the Memberships tab.
  2. Select the desired account.
  3. Select the Household Contacts button from the navigation panel.
  4. Select the three-dot ellipsis menu from the household contact.
  5. Select the “New Household Contact” option.
  6. Complete the required contact fields.
  7. Select the Create a Neon CRM account checkbox.
  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  9. Select the Create Contact button.

Add a sub-member to a membership:

  1. Select the Membership button from the navigation panel.
  2. Select the three-dot ellipsis menu from the desired group membership.
  3. Select the “Manage Sub-members” "option.
  4. Select the desired sub-member’s checkbox.
  5. Select the Add to membership button.
  6. Select the desired membership term from the Membership Term drop-down.
  7. Select the Calculate button.
  8. Scroll down and select the Add Membership button.
  9. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Add Membership button.
  10. Make any necessary changes to the transaction and payment method on the Summary page.
  11. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Save Payment button.
