To start, we will access the Event Registration Discounts page using the following steps:

1.    Log into Neon CRM.
2.    Select the Settings icon on the top right corner of the screen.
3.    Select Global Settings from the drop-down menu.
4.    Scroll to the Legacy Events section.
5.    Select the Event Registration Discounts link.

The Event Registration Discounts page has two sections: Event Registration Discounts and Event Coupon Code Discounts.

To add a new discount for individuals who register for events in the next 10 days, use the following steps:

6.    Select the New Discount button.

On the Event Discount page:

7.    Enter today’s date in the Discount Start Date field. 

8.    Enter 10 days from today’s date in the Discount End Date field. 

Note: You can also use the Calendar icon to display a calendar to make your date selections.

9.    Check the box for the event(s) you would like the discount to apply to in the Apply discount to list.

Note: You may select or deselect the checkbox next to the Select/Deselect All Events field if you want to select or deselect all events.

10.    Enter a description of the discount in the Description in List page textbox. 
11.    Use the radio button to select Price off total registration fee or Percentage off total registration fee.
12.    Enter the price or percentage in the text box next to the radio button selected.
13.    Select the Save button.

On the Event Registration Discounts page, you also have the option to add a coupon code for registrants to apply to an event. For this exercise, you will add a coupon code for a select number of individuals that register for an event.

1.    Select the New Coupon Code button.

On the Event Discount page, complete the following steps:

2.    Enter the title of the coupon code in the Coupon Code text box.
3.    Select the Event from the drop-down menu.
4.    Enter the number of coupon codes available in the Max # of coupon users text box.

Note: You also have the option to enter a date range for how long you want your coupon code to be available. 

5.    Use the radio button to select Fixed Amount or Percentage.
6.    Enter the fixed amount of percentage discount in the corresponding text box.
7.    Select the Save button.

You have now entered a discount and coupon code for your legacy event.
